URC at a glance

 

Upazila Resource Center (URC) provides short-term training to primary school teachers and other concerned persons. 1 to 30 days training is conducted at URCs known as mini PTIs.


Here, the persons directly involved in the improvement of primary education such as head teachers, assistant teachers and supervisors, members of the School Management Committee (SMC) all for the improvement of the quality of primary education in general and the development of school management and academic supervision and ensuring the collection and equitable utilization of local resources etc. Vocational training is provided. URC serves as a center for exhibiting modern materials and techniques used in primary education. Acting as a center for organizing all training, orientation and seminars related to primary education conducted locally or by Directorate of Primary Education and National Academy of Primary Education (NEPE). Provides training to teachers on creating digital content for primary schools, creating educational materials with lessons, storing and using them in the classroom.
